A message to students, parents and employers
Welcome to the Government Industrial Training Institute, Canning-I.
An ITI is where a young person discovers that their hands and their mind can build a livelihood together. Since 2016 this institute has served the villages and small towns of the Canning area, and a great many of our trainees are the first in their family to hold a nationally recognised technical certificate. That responsibility shapes everything we do.
Our workshops, our instructors and our industry partners exist for one purpose: to make certain that a trainee who completes a course here can walk into a workplace and be useful from the first day. We teach the trade, but we also teach discipline, safety and the habit of finishing work properly.
If you are a student considering admission, come and see the campus. If you are an employer, talk to us about what skills you need. If you are a parent, know that your child will be looked after here.
